A Look Back at 2019 + Goals for 2020

New Years is an exciting day for me, but probably exciting in a different way than some. I haven't gone out on New Years in about three years (I like to think I'm not the only one), but I just love staying in with Chris or my family. I get more excited about goal setting and the fresh start that the comes along with the new year. I wanted to take some time to not only set goals for 2020, but also to reflect on all the good things that came with 2019.

2019

1. The Poconos, PA for snowboarding

2. Sea Isle City, NJ for Memorial Day weekend

3. Nashville, TN for the 4th of July

4. Montreal, Canada for a work trip

2020

1. Chris and I already have plans to go West in the summer and to say I'm excited is an understatement. We have been talking about visiting Montana for a while now and decided to pay for this trip instead of buying gifts for our upcoming anniversary/Valentine's day.

2. Aside from Montana, we want to take a weekend road-trip in the fall of 2020, location TBD.

2019

Chris and I are normally pretty in sync when it comes to our workouts and meals. The spring and summer were the best for us both because we got into a really good routine. Since we moved into our apartment this past September, we could come up with a bunch of reasons as to why we got off track, but they would just be excuses (mainly for me - Chris actually had a good excuse because he was working 13 hour days for about two months).

2020

I've struggled with an all or nothing mindset when it comes to being healthy and I think that's something that has set me back in the past. In 2020, I want to find a better balance between living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying good food & drinks with family and friends every so often.

2019

Starting my Instagram account pushed me out of my comfort zone. I've connected with some amazing and kind people over the past four months and I'm working to become better at something I love to do - decorating.

2020

In 2020, I want to grow creatively and improve my photography to make our home cozier and create better posts and blog entries!

I'm excited for everything that's to come in this new year and I wish you all blessings and a successful 2020!
